Luxembourg Air Rescue

Luxembourg Air Rescue, or LAR, launches rescue missions in and around Luxembourg. They are here protecting us and helping us when in need.

"Luxembourg Air Rescue is a private, humanitarian organization with the aim to save human lives whether in Luxembourg, the Greater Region surrounding Luxembourg or worldwide through the operation of its helicopters and air ambulances. Since its foundation in 1988, LAR has performed more than 13.000 rescue missions and in so doing many lives have been saved. In the event of a medical emergency, state-of-the-art helicopters can bring medical help to every single point in Luxembourg within 8 minutes. 365 days a year, the air ambulances, equivalent to airborne intensive care units, are ready to repatriate people throughout the world."
